Christina Renée Joubert has made it her mission in life to make accessible to all people the knowledge, wisdom, tools, and strategies that can help them reframe their past, transform their present, and change the trajectory of their relationships and lives — now and for generations to come.
At the core of Christina’s mission, and all of her work, is one fundamental belief: Personal growth is a right, not a privilege, and the knowledge, wisdom, tools, and strategies that can help should be accessible and expressible to/for/by all.
Christina’s teachings and mindset mastery abilities help people to turn traditional, paralyzing beliefs, behaviors, and patterns on their head — and her mindset tools and strategies give people a new, refreshed, empowered way to look at the same old problems and the same old dysfunctional patterns that show up in life — so that they can change them.
Christina’s teachings and strategies also help people to easily and effortlessly turn negative experiences into opportunities to learn, heal, and grow; negative thoughts into powerfully uplifting inner change; and emotional pain into the fuel that powers one’s personal growth and expansion.
The solutions that come through Christina are practical; inspired by daily life, each person’s daily conflicts; and the daily desire we all have to love and be loved.
Dedicated students of Christina’s teachings often learn over time:
- The strategies and tools required in order to implement healthy boundaries, self-love, self-worth, self-esteem, self-respect, healthy habits, confidence, etc.
- How to cultivate purpose, inspiration, love, creativity, and joy — from every person, feeling, experience, and ounce of darkness or pain.
- How to consciously retrain their brains to create new patterns, habits, and cycles to replace the old, worn-out ones that no longer serve them to hold onto
- How to overcome everything, always, and be “better off” as a result.
- How to turn their pain into their superpower and their darkness into light — shifting their perspectives, their experiences, and their lives.
In short, Christina utilizes her mindset mastery skills, her teachings, and her own life experiences to help people take back their power to be free and learn how to live in peace, love, joy, and harmony as a normal, predictable way to be — fulfilling their destiny.
Prior to launching Personal Growth for All™ and rebranding Teaching the World to Love™ as a mission-based, boutique lifestyle store, Christina was a life coach to private clients as well as an institutional advisor for 17.5 years and a vice president at the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance brokerage firm.
Christina is also an ordained spiritual-interfaith minister, the author of When Soulmates Unite – Learning to Love Ourselves from the People Who Can Hurt Us the Most and a proud mommy to a beautiful little boy. When Christina is not teaching, mentoring, or writing she is coaching her son’s baseball teams, homeschooling her little one, learning something new, working out, hiking, laughing, loving, praying, meditating, volunteering, talking with God and walking with God in every second of every day to whomever and wherever He may lead her.
Hello, Christina here. 🙂 I wanted to tell you a bit about my personal story so you would know why I created Personal Growth for All™ and Teaching the World to Love™ and why I’m driven to do what I do. My story, like yours, has twists and turns and many unexpected events – all of which have contributed to the creation of these brands and add texture to the fabric of my mission, guiding principles, and life.
The short version of how Personal Growth for All™ and Teaching the World to Love™ got started, starts with two seeds that were planted in me when I was around five years old.
The first seed was planted on the day my dad told me that my mom and my grandmother didn’t love me and that they were embarrassed and ashamed of me because of the color of my skin. My dad’s belief in this was real and it was raw and he reinforced his belief often, telling me with compassion and conviction that he wished things were different but he would tell me that no matter how hard I tried… I could not win the love and acceptance of the two women who were supposed to love and accept me just because I was born. Night after night I would crawl up into my dad’s arms and just cry; I wanted so desperately to be loved.
[While it’s true that my grandmother disowned us, what’s interesting is that the story my dad told me about my mom being embarrassed and ashamed of me wasn’t true. It was my dad’s belief based on his perceptions; perceptions that were colored by his pain. And because he and I didn’t know back then how to determine the difference between pain and “truth”, his pain accidentally became my reality and it was devastating to me for most of my life – devastating to my ability to love myself, develop healthy relationships, and feel worthy of being loved.]
The second seed was planted, when I was five years old as well, when people began to realize that I had this natural-born, God-given spiritual ability to take away a person’s pain – making them feel better – just by listening to them.
So as my sense of self, love, trust, and worth was being stripped away from me — God was simultaneously giving me the gift of taking other people’s pain away and making them feel better. As such, I began to identify my worth solely based on how I made others feel. If I could take their pain away, I felt lovable and thus worthy of being loved. If I could anticipate their pain and “protect them” from the pain — even better. If I could not, I felt ashamed, alone, afraid, and unworthy of being loved.
As a child, when someone refused to change, I felt the burden of continuing to carry their pain – because I didn’t understand that another person’s pain wasn’t mine to carry. And I didn’t have the practical knowledge yet on how to release my attachment to their pain – how to truly serve – so I created unhealthy attachments. Lots of them.
These unhealthy attachments coupled with my lack of love for myself and lack of healthy boundaries, led me to a life of addictions (six of them!), anxiety, escapes, fear, dysfunctional relationships, and pain.
And then in 2012, when I was 33 years old, I left my marriage with a 10-month old baby in my arms vowing to change my life. I didn’t know what change would look like or feel like, but I knew there had to be “more”. I knew I couldn’t have been born with such profound abilities and gifts only to let them wallow in a sea of loneliness, emptiness, fear, isolation, addiction, shame, and despair.
I had to find myself and my light.
I had to find my self-worth and learn how to keep it, even if others didn’t see it.
I had to learn how to love myself and learn how to begin treating myself like I was worthy of being loved — even if no one else did.
I had to learn new ways to comfort and soothe myself so that I could end all my addictions and no longer need all my dysfunctional patterns of escape.
I had to learn how to break my unhealthy cycles, habits, and patterns and retrain my brain to not just live – waking each day to survive – but thrive.
I had to learn how to turn all my pain into my superpower and change the trajectory of my lineage and my life.
I had to learn how to turn all of my darkness into light.
I had to.
And I did just that.
And then after nine solid years of intense personal growth, I decided it was time to share what I’ve learned, on a larger scale, so that others can learn as well.
You see, I believe with my entire heart, body, and soul that you deserve to have a resource that doesn’t just talk about what change could look like or feel like for you. But, rather, you deserve a resource who has walked the path and will give you the real-life, practical, tips, tools, tricks, and strategies that can lead you to the self-love, self-worth, and self-confidence you so righteously deserve. And, you deserve a resource who passionately and honorably helps you create the change you want to see; a resource like me.
My hope and prayer is that the thoughts and methodologies I teach will help you clear through the clutter and blocks that prevent you from living the life you desire to live. It is my passionate and undying belief that no one should have to go through life feeling alone, unworthy and unloved. And, it is my unyielding and everlasting conviction that with the right access, equity, information, tools, and strategies everyone has the opportunity to go through life feeling free and living in peace, love, joy, and harmony as a normal, predictable way to be — fulfilling their destiny.
I’m thankful that my journey has taught me the lessons I needed to learn so that I may be of the greatest service to you; it is such an honor to serve you.
Thank you for trusting me and thank you for being you.
There is meaning in everything and everyone. If you search for it, the true meaning can and will set you free.
With love, always,
P.S. A few years before my grandmother passed, she broke her neck in a car accident. After that, her perspective on people of color changed and she started attending an all black Baptist church and became the best friend and sole caretaker of a blind African American man; unfortunately, she died before I had the chance to get to know her. And as for my mom, she is one of my biggest supporters and I cannot tell you how much I love her, how much she loves me, and how grateful I am that she’s my mother; I thank God for her every day.

How it works:
- Submit your issue and ask Christina your question.

- The video response will be posted publicly to our website and social media channels — along with some or all of your written submission.
- We recommend that anyone who makes a submission also signs up for our electronic mailing list so that you can receive our weekly e-newsletter that lists out our new “Ask Christina” videos we’ve created so that you’ll know when yours is posted.
Think of it like a good old-fashioned public, anonymous advice column. And since Christina can’t work one-on-one with everyone, she’s developed this model so that she can touch as many people as possible and everyone can learn from one another. Each one teach one, each one lead one. #itstime
We envision a world in which all people are free to live in peace, love, joy, and harmony as a normal, predictable way to be — fulfilling their destiny.
We believe that personal growth is a right, not a privilege, and should be accessible and expressible to/for/by to all.
We believe that spirituality plays a role in healing us in mind, body, and soul.
We believe that one day we will live in a world in which it is normal to love yourself, normal to love your life, and normal to feel worthy of being loved.
We believe that one day we will live in a world in which feeling supported, worthy, joy-filled, and loved is how people grow up.
We believe that living in peace, love, joy, and harmony will one day be a completely normal, predictable way to be.
We believe that being the change we want to see is the most direct route to fulfilling our destiny.
Students of Christina’s teachings come to believe and grow to know:
We know our voice matters and that the voices of others’ matter too.
We know our feelings are purposeful and so are others’ too.
We know we are stronger than we think.
We know we are more powerful than we could ever imagine.
We know that we are loved beyond measure and without compromise — even when it doesn’t feel like it.
We know our pain is our superpower and that our darkness can be turned into light.
We know that nothing happens to us and everything happens for us.
We know that wherever we hurt the most, we also have the greatest opportunity to heal the most.
We know that our hardships prepare us for living our purpose and developing the strength to thrive.
We know that every person, experience, and feeling has value and meaning and can lead us to a more peaceful and loving way to be.
We know that pain and love co-exist to heal us.
We know that choosing love — even when it’s hard to — says everything about the kind of people we claim to be.
We know we hold the inner strength to create anything we can dream of.
We know that life gives us the perfect training ground for growth and so we use it to teach ourselves how to grow — mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
We know that as we heal ourselves, we heal one another. We choose to heal.
We know we have the tools and the power to always be free — feeling peace, love, joy, and harmony no matter who or what’s going on around us and no matter who or what is trying to oppress us, suppress us, stop us, or block us.
We know that we can learn to love ourselves and our lives from the people and circumstances that hurt us.
We know how to align with the light — in mind, body, and soul. And we know how to realign with the light when life gives us adversities; experiences that cause fear or hurt; and opportunities that force us and challenge us to grow.
We know that every challenge we face in our relationships and in life is happening so we can grow, heal, and evolve. We know this now.
We know that access to information that will change lives for the better will one day be wildly accessible to all. We are committed to doing our part and BEING the change — so that we can show others the way.
We know that the dark is only dark — until there’s light.
We know there’s light.
